Questions.
If yours is not here, ask. Dispatch answers around the clock.
Where we go
- Do you only do ski resorts?
- No. The resorts are the busiest routes, not the whole business. Most days are airport runs and journeys around Salt Lake City itself — hotels, offices, the medical centres, the arena — alongside the canyons, the national parks and long-distance work.
- Do you drive anywhere in Utah?
- Yes. The valley, the Wasatch Front, Utah County, the Ogden Valley, and south to Zion, Bryce, Moab, Arches, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef. Every one of them has a published price on this site — the resort routes by zone, the long ones on distance, including the miles the vehicle covers coming home.
- Will you drive out of state?
- Not yet. Everything we do is inside Utah while the interstate operating authority that out-of-state work requires is being arranged. We would rather say no than take a booking we cannot legally run — ask anyway, and we will tell you where that stands.
- Is the drive to Zion or Moab really better than flying?
- For a group with luggage it often is: one price for the vehicle, no bag fees, no security queue, no connection to miss, and door to door on your schedule. For one or two people travelling light, a flight to St George is usually cheaper and we will say so.
Flights and timing
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- Give us the flight number when you book and we hold the pick-up for it. You get 60 minutes of wait at no charge on a domestic arrival and 90 on an international one, timed from wheels-down rather than from when you reach the kerb — so an ordinary delay costs you nothing. If you are going to be longer than that, a text saves us both a phone call.
- How long will you wait?
- 60 minutes on a domestic arrival and 90 on an international one, both timed from wheels-down rather than from when you reach the gate. Beyond that we charge by the minute, and we will always call before the clock starts.
- What if I land early?
- We see that too. If we can collect you sooner we will, and there is no charge for the change.
- Where do we meet?
- At the kerb in the commercial lanes by default, which is quickest. If you would rather be met inside at baggage claim with a name board, add meet and greet when you book.
Luggage, gear and children
- Will our ski bags fit?
- In a premium SUV, four people with four ski bags and four suitcases travel comfortably. Beyond that you want the van, or two vehicles. Tell us the ski bags when you book and the quote picks the vehicle for you.
- Do you charge for ski or board bags?
- No. They are included.
- Can you provide child seats?
- Yes, at no charge, and fitted before we collect you. Tell us the ages when you book. Utah law requires an appropriate restraint for children under eight unless they are at least 57 inches tall.
- Can we bring a dog?
- Usually yes — tell us in advance so we bring the right vehicle and protect the interior.
Winter and the canyons
- What if the canyon closes?
- Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood both close for avalanche control, sometimes with little notice. We watch the UDOT feed, contact you before we set off, and move or rebook the trip rather than leave you at a closed gate. You are not charged for a closure.
- Do you run all-wheel drive and chains?
- Yes, through the winter, on every canyon run. Both canyons enforce traction requirements and our vehicles meet them.
- Should I book earlier in winter?
- Yes. Saturday transfer days in ski season sell out, and a held vehicle on a powder weekend is worth booking well ahead.
Money
- Is gratuity included?
- No — it is added as its own line, at 20% by default. What matters is that you see it before you book rather than working it out at the kerb: it is on the quote, in the total, and you can adjust it or take it off entirely. The fare and the gratuity are always shown separately so you know which is which.
- So is the total I am quoted the total I pay?
- Yes. The quote total already contains the gratuity, any surcharges and tax. The rates page shows fares before gratuity, because that is the fare — your quote shows the whole thing.
- Is the price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle, one way. Four people pay the same as one.
- When am I charged?
- At the time of booking, on the card you provide. Corporate accounts are billed monthly on net 30 terms.
- Can I cancel?
- Free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. Inside that window we may charge, because the vehicle has been held for you and turned other work away.
- Why do some dates cost more?
- A handful of holiday and ski-season weekends carry a peak rate, because demand exceeds the fleet and a vehicle held for you is a vehicle turned away from someone else. Peak dates are published, and your quote names the window before you book. A price never changes after you have seen it.
